Mr. McAndrew, Executive-in-Residence at California Lutheran University (CLU), has been providing technology and leadership education for over 25 years. Richard designed the Information Technology Management (ITM) Emphasis for CLU’s MBA Program. He also designed and teaches CLU’s Leadership Workshop Series for MBA & ADEP students.

Additionally, Richard is adjunct faculty at FH Joanneum University in Graz Austria and Emphasis Leader, where his current assignment is the redesign of both the graduate and undergraduate I.T. emphasis. He is also an instructor at Joanneum for the International Management Program at the School of Business.

Prior to CLU, Richard spent 11 years at Dun & Bradstreet Software (DBS) as a Vice President and Regional Manager. DBS provides enterprise application solutions to Fortune 1000 companies with an emphasis on the Financial Services Industry. His responsibilities included sales, professional services, customer support & operations. During Richard’s technology career he has had responsibilities for over 400 large-scale software implementations for major corporations.

Richards Financial Services Industry background in I.T. provides students with the right blend of real world experience combined with theory and methods. His passion is to help grow tomorrow’s leaders. Richard believes Managers are a commodity. Leaders are in short supply. My reward is seeing today’s new leaders achieve professional & personal success.
